Don Mehrabi, MD, FAAD | Board Certified Dermatologist
After graduating Kent State University with summa cum laude honors and finishing in the top ten percent of his graduating medical school class, he performed his preliminary internal medicine internship at Emory University/Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. He then completed his three year dermatology training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Since moving out to California in July 2005, he has worked with the Cedars-Sinai Medical Group and in private practice. He currently is on staff at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Glendale Adventist Medical Center, Glendale Memorial Hospital, and Providence Tarzana Medical Center.
Dr. Mehrabi enjoys all aspects of dermatology, including medical / general dermatology, pediatric dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, surgical dermatology, and laser dermatology. His particular interests include acne, accutane treatment, psoriasis, rosacea, Botox, Restylane, Juvederm, Mohs surgery, and laser dermatology. He is very proud to be able to offer all of these services in three Los Angeles locations: Beverly Hills, Encino-Tarzana, and Glendale.
Courtney Phillips, MD, FAAD | Board Certified Dermatologist
Dr. Courtney Phillips is a board certified dermatologist. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from University of California, San Diego (UCSD) and received her medical degree from University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine. In medical school she was awarded a dermatology research fellowship at University of California, Irvine with Dr. Sergei Grando. She did her internship at Kaiser Permanente, Los Angeles Medical Center. Dr. Phillips completed her residency training at the University of Southern California, was awarded the Madeline Boccuzzi Award for excellence in dermatology, and served as Chief Resident during her final year.
Dr. Phillips enjoys all aspects of dermatology including: general dermatology, pediatric dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, and dermatologic surgery. She has a particular interest in acne, psoriasis, cosmetic and laser dermatology, and in skin cancer prevention and early detection. Dr. Phillips has participated in multiple educational events and skin cancer screenings in Los Angeles. She is currently on staff at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and is a volunteer attending for the University of Southern California, Department of Dermatology.
Cynthia Chaghouri, MPAP, PA-C | Dermatology
Cynthia Chaghouri, MPAP, PA-C is a Certified Physician Assistant born and raised here is Los Angeles. She is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University. She completed her Masters in Physician Assistant Practice at the University of Southern California. Cynthia has worked in plastic surgery and family medicine, and she has found her passion in dermatology. She is a happy, energetic and positive person. She enjoys all aspects of dermatology, including medical and general dermatology, pediatric dermatology, cosmetic procedures, and surgical dermatology. Cynthia is especially skilled in acne and accutane, psoriasis, rashes, rosacea, warts, eczema, and full-body skin exams.
Lauren Boos, MPAP, PA-C | Dermatology
Lauren Boos, MPAP, PA-C is a graduate of The University of Southern California. She completed her Masters in Physician Assistant Practice at the University of Southern California and is a proud Diplomate of the Distance Learning Initiative of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Lauren has worked in other dermatology practices and in premier cosmetic medical spas, and has found her passion in both general and cosmetic dermatology. She particularly enjoys doing cosmetic procedures including Botox, Restylane, Juvederm, and laser dermatology, particularly the CO2, Erbium, and VBeam lasers.
Gina Obsenares, PA-C | Dermatology
Gina N. Obsenares, PA-C is a native of Santa Monica and has been practicing as a PA for the last 14 years, 11 of which have been in Dermatology. She earned her B.S. degree in Biological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine and her Certificate in Physician Assistant Studies from Charles Drew University of Medicine and Science in Los Angeles. Gina enjoys all aspects of both medical and cosmetic dermatology, and particularly enjoys treating patients with acne, eczema and rosacea. She also has a passion for cosmetic treatments such as fillers and Botox. As a Physician Assistant who has received specialized training in dermatology, Gina is licensed and qualified to perform comprehensive skin exams, diagnose, treat and prescribe appropriate therapy for a wide range of dermatological skin conditions.
